County Seat: Pagosa Springs Population: 11,196 Location: Southwest
Archuleta County is located in southwestern Colorado, reaching the New Mexico border to its south. Pagosa Springs is the county seat and the county's largest municipality. The towns of Chromo, Chimney Rock and Arboles are also within county limits. The county sits just west of the Continental Divide (including Wolf Creek Pass) and is situated within parts of the San Juan National Forest and San Juan mountain range.
